About LOR tattoos and sapphire studios
I started at Sapphire Studios in December of 2020 after working in the tri-city area since I began my tattoo journey in 2017. I started my apprenticeship in 2015 and graduated in 2017, have moved studios, done some guest spots in the local areas, and traveled to some conventions and conferences. The studio is a collective of independent tattoo artists, permanent cosmetic artists, and a laser removal tech.
How do You Charge?
For pricing, I work at a rate of $180 an hour with a minimum of $180.
I have three different time slots to accommodate different projects. This will be determined based on design, size, and placement.
I have options of a 2-hour session, a half-day session (up to 4 hours), or a full-day session (up to 7 hours).
Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule your appointment for any reason, please let me know within a 72-hour (3-day) window so I can honor your deposit. Any less notice will result in losing the deposit, and a new one will be needed to set a new appointment day/time. I offer a 1 time reschedule with the deposit honored.
As stated above in Pricing Details, deposits are Non-Refundable. In the event of a cancellation, if you wish to schedule a new appointment, another deposit will be required. Cancellations and No-Shows will lose that deposit.
If I cancel or reschedule the appointment, I will do my best to give notice as far in advance as I can. The deposit will be honored regardless.
Where are you Located?
I work out of Sapphire Studios in Naperville, IL.
ADDRESS: 4S100 N IL Rte. 59, #11, Naperville, Illinois
We have a free parking lot with accessible and plentiful parking spots.
As a private studio, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment for all. My goal will always be to respect my clients and their individual needs during the process. Ultimately, I want you to have a sick tattoo, and I want to be proud of my work.
How to schedule an appointment?
Being appointment-only, I would always recommend reaching out before stopping by the studio in case I am unavailable. I typically work Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am-6 pm.
My schedule is very flexible to accommodate appointments, so this is subject to change. With the way the studio and my current schedule function, at this time, I cannot accommodate walk-ins.
The best way to get in contact with me is through the request form in the booking section of the website. All request forms are sent directly to me and will be answered via email. Appointments do require a $100 non-refundable deposit, which goes towards the total of the tattoo. If you have general inquiries, you are welcome to email me directly at LORtattoos20@gmail.com.

All clients must be 18 years or older with a valid form of photo ID. This can be:
State ID
Driver’s License
Passport
These must be up to date and not expired. If you have a temporary ID, as long as it is valid, it can be used. Please email me if you believe there may be an issue with your ID.
The best way to come prepared for your appointment is to get plenty of rest the night before, eat a good meal, and stay hydrated! I am able to provide water, and we do have some snack options available at the studio. For lengthier appointments, I also provide lunch. Feel free to bring any comfort items such as headphones, a blanket, or anything for entertainment.
Drinking or taking substances before your appointment can severely hinder your body’s response to stress and can make the appointment more uncomfortable. If I suspect that you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, I will have to decline service and reschedule you.

Absolutely! Due to the size of my room, I recommend no more than one support person. We do have a comfortable lobby with a spacious waiting area, as well as multiple restrooms. Guests are also welcome to come and go as needed.

If you are looking to schedule an appointment but would first like to start with an in-person consultation, no problem! Consultations are free and typically take about 30 minutes. Please bring any inspiration photos or concept ideas you may have. If you can’t find it online, doodle it yourself! It never needs to be perfect. I just need to get a good idea of what you are looking for, so I can take what we discussed and create a design we are both proud of.
I also recommend consultations to anyone new to me or the studio! This is a great way to know what to expect before your appointment and ease any anxieties.
I also understand that not everyone is local or has the availability to come by in person, and I am always happy to discuss ideas, concepts, and consult on any questions over email.

Numbing cream can be a great option for those who are getting tattooed in high-pain areas or who will be in very long sessions. I do have and can provide “Bactine”, which is an antiseptic that contains lidocaine, which can help with redness and mute some pain or discomfort.
However, there will always be a risk if you haven’t used any numbing agents before and aren’t sure which brand/formula will work best for you. Please let me know prior to the appointment if you are choosing to use numbing cream. If you need assistance in applying, let me know ahead of time, as most numbing creams need a half to a full hour to take effect.
I would always recommend doing a patch test. Pick a small, clean area on your arm or leg, put a proportional amount of numbing cream (follow the label’s instructions), and wait to see if there are any negative reactions. If so, wash off immediately and do not use again.
